Council calls special meeting to discuss repeal of Seattle head tax

The Seattle head tax affects the city's largest employers making more than $20 million annually. On Monday, Harrell questioned if a tax on jobs was really best for the future of the city. He said the city needs to convince the public that it is spending money to fight the homeless crisis wisely and, so far, that hasn't been accomplished. "I think this is a wise move, to press the reset button," he added.
