For about three weeks before Christmas, radio station KELA in Centralia/Chehalis would use a "Magic Radio" to connect with Santa Claus at the North Pole for 15 minutes each day. Historian Feliks Banel tells the story of how Santa would talk to the children of Southwest Washington between the 1940s and the 1960s.
